Fall is my favorite season for many reasons. The fashion, the feeling of starting anew and I must confess…Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Even though living in Miami I can’t really layer as much as I would like to, I can add a certain fall flair to my outfit. In this case it is a midi skirt, a crop top and some pumps.
This look was inspired from the boho luxe trend seen on the Spring and Fall Runways for 2015. Putting together a floral kimono with a white tank, denim and a peep toe wedge gives it a casual vibe. I finished the look with a wide-brim floppy hat to go with the boho story.

Hello dolls and Happy New Year!
I hope that everyone has enjoyed their holidays.
If you pay attention you will realize every gift tells a story. In a way gifts that are given to you reveal how the gift giver feels about you. That is why I felt the need to share my favorite gifts. I truly felt that the gifts I received exceeded my expectations because they were so thoughtful and creative. Since I was so happy with my gifts I was inspired to reach out to two of my favorite bloggers and find out about their Holiday gifts and why they loved them as well.
I hope you enjoy reading about my holiday favorite gifts along with two of my favorite bloggers.
Here are my top gifts:
The straw boater hat with lace and the small structured bag are vintage collectable pieces from the 1940s were given to me by my boyfriend. The semi precious stone necklace is a handmade piece from my friend and local designer Doreentii Fersola. Those amazing Sam Eldemen Booties were given to me from my parents. My last favorite is a dress form given to me by my aunts.
Here are Anj from Styled With Poise Top Picks:
The Phillip Lim (Pashli mini) bag and Givenchy sunglasses are both from my husband. I needed this pop of color since I love wearing black outfits. The bag goes well with the sunglasses which, are the perfect fit for the shape of my face. My mother-in-law got me this Pandora bracelet. I personally love that the bracelet is personalized. She also got me a travel sized perfume. I always carry one in my purse and it really comes in handy. The scent is not over powering, which is one of the reason why I love it! Aesop Chamomile Mask is from my best friend. It has rescued my skin from those bad break out moments. Besides using it as a mask, I also use as a spot treatment.
Lastly heres Jannelys from The Fashion Buffets favorite:
For a while, I’ve been wanting a chic pair of headphones to workout. Luckily, my boyfriend got me this gold pair from Frends. It was instant love and he made a great decision by choosing gold since it matches with my logo and style. Not to mention gold is the color of my phone and desk accessories. These are my favorite headphones now because they’re super comfortable on the ears and the sound quality is amazing. The Taylor headphones never miss in my bag. The best feature is the glittering hardware on the headphones because it adds that girly look. These headphones are convenient to store, since you can fold them very easily and place them inside the pocket it comes with.

My look is perfect for an evening holiday party. Here’s how you can recreate this look:
Step 1. After you’re finished with your foundation and powder, apply a gold shimmer all over your eye lid and concentrate a dark brown shade in the crease blending outward.
Step 2. Use a brow brush and powder to define and shape your brows.
Step 3. Use a matte black liner to outline your eyes and a good mascara to get a full lash look.
Step 4. On your cheeks apply a pink blush for rosy cheeks.
Step 5. The last step is to apply a coral lipstick.. and you’re now ready to party!

The temperature has dropped in Miami and I am LOVING every second of it. What better excuse to pull out the little black crochet dress with a pair of booties. I have been working on my blog branding and there are a few new exciting changes coming! Be sure to stay tuned.

Happy Wednesday Beauties! Hoping that everyone is having a great week so far. I just got back from a trip to one of my favorite places to visit, New York. Follow my instagram account to keep up with my travels and adventures. Going on a vacation gives you the chance to take your mind off of the many stresses that life comes with, especially when you travel with people you love. I was able to do just that and come back filled with ideas for the blog and the inspiration to do so!
For today I would like to share with you this lovely Fall look where I styled a basic turtleneck under a faux fur vest with a leather skirt and some rustic lace up boots. See the details down below.

This look was inspired by my favorite color of the season, Sangria. I paired my sangria romper with a sandal wedge and a cuff to keep the look minimal. This romper is the perfect piece to have since it can be dressed up or down depending on the accessories. To give this look more of a “Fall Edge” I suggest some black suede ankle booties. Even though I live in Miami I still want to be able to celebrate and dress for my favorite season, Fall. This this the Fall look that I wore to the Fashion Rocks Event and you can find it all at Macy’s. I used to avoid over-the-knee boots but I decided to be adventurous this season! If you do try an over-the knee-boot get ready for a lot of attention and wear it with confidence. These boots look great with an A-line skirt and a cropped sweater and they add an edge to a casual look. Before the event I visited the pumpkin patch at Miami Lakes. If you haven’t already been you should check it out! Its a great Fall activity to do plus there are so many great picture opportunities.

I find giving a classic look an edge always makes an interesting look, and that is what I incorporated into the second look for the Sparkover Street Style Edition. For this Series, I wanted to capture the flair of Downtown Miami and make the transition my look into fall fashion. I chose to take the Street Style Series at Mary Brickell Village in order to make this happen. Not only do I enjoy the great selection of shops in Brickell, but it was the first location that came to mind because of the ongoing development projects happening in the area.

Today’s look is the first of the looks for a Street Style Edition Series. Have you ever wondered how trends come about? Virtually all trends start on the streets and then either trickle into mainstream such as runways and retail or just inspire a certain mood. Fashion forecasters also play a big role in trend identification and analysis.
For the first look of the Sparkover Street Style Series, inspiration was taken from the Downtown Brickell, Miami area. This look is a feminine and classic take on uptown chic. The pink polkadot blouse matched with the nude A-line pleated skirt are from Macys. Feminine accessories finished the look, the cateye sunglasses are from BCBGMAXAZRIA and the shoulder bag is from Nordstrom (Kendall and Kylie Madden Girl).
