Thanksgiving Party Set Up

I hope everyone was able to spend lots of time with loved ones and had a great Thanksgiving! As promised here are some pictures of a Friendsgiving affair shared with close friends. This was hosted by my good friend and yours truly. We had a blast making this super simple to make Sangria, inspired from this Pinterest post. I made the chocolate covered apples and you can find the link of how to make them here. The pumpkin pie bites were DELISH and a great buy from target.  The chocolate bites with sprinkles were also a target buy. Lastly. I used a printable to make the “Be Thankful” banner, which was a nice finishing touch.

Look of the Day: My crochet LBD

The temperature has dropped in Miami and I am LOVING every second of it. What better excuse to pull out the little black crochet dress with a pair of booties. I have been working on my blog branding and there are a few new exciting changes coming! Be sure to stay tuned.

Look of the Day: Faux Fur Vest + Leather skirt

Happy Wednesday Beauties! Hoping that everyone is having a great week so far. I just got back from a trip to one of my favorite places to visit, New York. Follow my instagram account to keep up with my travels and adventures. Going on a vacation gives you the chance to take your mind off of the many stresses that life comes with, especially when you travel with people you love. I was able to do just that and come back filled with ideas for the blog and the inspiration to do so!

For today I would like to share with you this lovely Fall look where I styled a basic turtleneck under a faux fur vest with a leather skirt and some rustic lace up boots. See the details down below.

Look of the Day: Sangria One-Piece

IMG_5654-2This look was inspired by my favorite color of the season, Sangria. I paired my sangria romper with a sandal wedge and a cuff to keep the look minimal. This romper is the perfect piece to have since it can be dressed up or down depending on the accessories. To give this look more of a “Fall Edge” I suggest some black suede ankle booties. IMG_5663 IMG_5665 IMG_5675(Photography By Daniel Botana)

My Look for Macy’s Fashion Rocks

Even though I live in Miami I still want to be able to celebrate and dress for my favorite season, Fall. This this the Fall look that I wore to the Fashion Rocks Event and you can find it all at Macy’s. I used to avoid over-the-knee boots but I decided to be adventurous this season! If you do try an over-the knee-boot get ready for a lot of attention and wear it with confidence. These boots look great with an A-line skirt and a cropped sweater and they add an edge to a casual look.  Before the event I visited the pumpkin patch at Miami Lakes. If you haven’t already been you should check it out! Its a great Fall activity to do plus there are so many great picture opportunities.

Fashion Happy Hour: Bloggers Give Edition

This September, Fashion Happy Hour had their very first “Bloggers Give Edition” at the LMNT. This was a very special event being that it was hosted by Daniela Ramirez from “Nanys Klozet”. In this event, Fashion Bloggers sold pieces from their wardrobe in order to donate to Style Saves, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supplying less fortunate kids with clothing. I really enjoyed being a part of such an amazing event while supporting a great cause. The good energy and creativity just filled the room!

The bloggers styled the looks for the fashion show featuring the lovely ladies of DAMA models wearing pieces from the each Bloggers’ wardrobe, of which, were sold that night. There was also a great line up of performances which included Miami’s up and coming artist, Monique Songbird. The venue was decorated with beautiful artwork from contributing artists including: Amauri Torezan, Christopher Ramos, Jorge-Miguel Rodriguez and  Anna Kristina.

Street Style Edition: Look 2

I find giving a classic look an edge always makes an interesting look, and that is what I incorporated into the second look for the Sparkover Street Style Edition. For this Series, I wanted to capture the flair of Downtown Miami and make the transition my look into fall fashion. I chose to take the Street Style Series at Mary Brickell Village in order to make this happen. Not only do I enjoy the great selection of shops in Brickell, but it was the first location that came to mind because of the ongoing development projects happening in the area.

Street Style Edition: Look 1

Today’s look is the first of the looks for a Street Style Edition Series. Have you ever wondered how trends come about? Virtually all trends start on the streets and then either trickle into mainstream such as runways and retail or just inspire a certain mood. Fashion forecasters also play a big role in trend identification and analysis.
catwalk detailsFor the first look of the Sparkover Street Style Series, inspiration was taken from the Downtown Brickell, Miami area. This look is a feminine and classic take on uptown chic. The pink polkadot blouse matched with the nude A-line pleated skirt are from Macys. Feminine accessories finished the look, the cateye sunglasses are from BCBGMAXAZRIA and the shoulder bag is from Nordstrom (Kendall and Kylie Madden Girl).
