Here is a quick recap of my Miami Swim Week experience showcasing a few of my favorite designer shows.
On the first day of Swim Week I headed to the Design District for the Mavele Swim Wear event hosted by Kelly Saks. I was greeted by an amazing group of fashion bloggers and many other installations throughout the event. I was first drawn to the hair installation, of course. The amazing team from Sea Donaldson hair did some amazing waves on my hair. The installations included a customized jewelry station by Taudrey, facials by the Clean Lines and more!

Great news, I am starting up my blog again and am very excited. Stay connected with me for some really exciting collaborations and event updates For my #relaunch post I would like to share with you the details on my latest event collab with Fashion Happy Hour + Henri Bendel.
For the cinco de mayo celebration we had live music from DJ Master Feathers while champagne and lite bites were served. Guests enjoyed 25% off Henri Bendel Merchandise AND a lucky winner got a beautiful cross-body bag with an embroidered floral print.

This September, Fashion Happy Hour had their very first “Bloggers Give Edition” at the LMNT. This was a very special event being that it was hosted by Daniela Ramirez from “Nanys Klozet”. In this event, Fashion Bloggers sold pieces from their wardrobe in order to donate to Style Saves, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supplying less fortunate kids with clothing. I really enjoyed being a part of such an amazing event while supporting a great cause. The good energy and creativity just filled the room!

The bloggers styled the looks for the fashion show featuring the lovely ladies of DAMA models wearing pieces from the each Bloggers’ wardrobe, of which, were sold that night. There was also a great line up of performances which included Miami’s up and coming artist, Monique Songbird. The venue was decorated with beautiful artwork from contributing artists including: Amauri Torezan, Christopher Ramos, Jorge-Miguel Rodriguez and Anna Kristina.

As a Fashion Merchandising and Marketing alum, I am always looking for ways to meet and get involved with creative people in Miami’s Fashion Industry. This is why I am so happy to be a part of such an amazing monthly Fashion Networking event, Fashion Happy Hour. The event creates the perfect opportunity to mingle, shop, and enjoy a fashion show production with Miami’s Fashion Network. Every month, the Fashion Happy Hour Team and I put on a trendy event to help promote fashion-related businesses in Miami.
This Months Fashion Happy Hour was hosted at the LMNT. The host was the super stylish blogger Freshly Squeezed Fashionista. The fashion show included looks from Luxe Isle, Hang 2 Dry and Pure of Hearts modeled by the always professional and chic, DAMA models.

The candy buffet table, sponsored by Miami Candies, provided delicious treats. Plus the Fashion Happy Hour team received a sweet surprise at the end of the night – a giant chocolate gummy bear!
Melanie Patterson, Kristina Espina and Chris joined us for amazing live illustrations. The photo booth with Fun Click was also a HIT!

This week marks the launch of the luxury eyewear brand based in Miami, Razōn. I personally know the creators and have had the pleasure of seeing the brand grow from the very start and getting involved in the movement as well.
The brand was inspired by the emerging design culture in Miami. Not only is Razōn making a big impact in the fashion world, but they are giving back. For each eyewear purchase, Razōn will provide prescription eyewear for three people in the developing world. What makes these sunglasses exotic and unique is the wooden frames that are created from around the world. The even better news is that they are for both men and women. My friend Mari from Loud and Tasteless and I had the pleasure of working on the styling and creative direction for their first shoot. The collection includes their signature woods, Bamboo, Ebony, and Rosewood.
In case you missed it, the lively Razōn launch took place on March 26, at Lou La Vie Exotic Car Rental. The event consisted of live music, a pink carpet, pink drinks, and an introduction of the brand from the Founder, Sebastian Leguiza.
Learn more about the brand and reserve an exclusive pair on their website.
