Grateful Days of Summer

Grateful Days of Summer

Last weekend, I attended Grateful Days of Summer by the Prescenceco at the Shelborne Hotel with a few friends. Not only was this event amazing but the message is what made it truly beautiful. Every activity at the event was directly benefiting the community.

Check out a recap of the event and my outfit details below!

Here is a quick recap of my Miami Swim Week experience showcasing a few of my favorite designer shows.

DAY 1:

On the first day of Swim Week I headed to the Design District for the Mavele Swim Wear event hosted by Kelly Saks. I was greeted by an amazing group of fashion bloggers and many other installations throughout the event. I was first drawn to the hair installation, of course. The amazing team from Sea Donaldson hair did some amazing waves on my hair. The installations included a customized jewelry station by Taudrey, facials by the Clean Lines and more!

Hi everyone!

Great news, I am starting up my blog again and am very excited. Stay connected with me for some really exciting collaborations and event updates  For my #relaunch post I would like to share with you the details on my latest event collab with Fashion Happy Hour + Henri Bendel.

For the cinco de mayo celebration we had live music from DJ Master Feathers while champagne and lite bites were served. Guests enjoyed 25% off Henri Bendel Merchandise AND a lucky winner got a beautiful cross-body bag with an embroidered floral print.

See photos below of our very fun in-store experience with the Henri Bendel Team from Aventura Mall!

Fall Style

Fall is my favorite season for many reasons. The fashion, the feeling of starting anew and I must confess…Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Even though living in Miami I can’t really layer as much as I would like to, I can add a certain fall flair to my outfit. In this case it is a midi skirt, a crop top and some pumps.

Floral Print

Floral Print

Pairing this romantic floral one-piece with a pointy toe pump is perfect for a brunch with the girls somewhere downtown. I found this piece at one of my favorite boutiques, Rack to Closet, which has been featured at the last Fashion Happy Hour event. The unique handmade jewels from Kompany Jewels complete the look. floral 3 floral 6floral 5Photographer: Joanna Ramirez  Outfit: Romper  (Rack to Closet )  Pointy Toe Heel  ( Steve Madden ) Jewelry (Kompany Jewels)

Floral Kimono + Denim

Floral Kimono + Denim

This look was inspired from the boho luxe trend seen on the Spring and Fall Runways for 2015. Putting together a floral kimono with a white tank, denim and a peep toe wedge gives it a casual vibe. I finished the look with a wide-brim floppy hat to go with the boho story.

Beach Beauty Essentials

The best part of living in Miami is being able to escape to the beach on a day off. Here are some amazing products that will help give you that effortless beauty while enjoying some sun and sand! This collaborative collection with Beauty for Real and Aerie are summer must haves. My favorite product of the collection is the Sugar Rush Scrub. This left my skin smooth and silky and is slightly scented with sugar, guava and nectarine. The Glow Sticks made it easy for me to get a natural summer glow along with a Sun Kissed Lip Gloss and beach goddess hair by adding some Sea Surf Spray. You can find the whole collection here.

Look of the Day: Classy & Comfortable

I was doing some research on Pantone’s trending colors for Spring 2015 and I almost instantly related to the reasoning for the color choice. I am an extremely hard worker and I love my social media but sometimes it is so nice to disconnect from technology for a while and take a little breather.

These photos are from a day that I did just that. My boyfriend and I went to Viscaya and took the day to relax, explore and enjoy the beauty around us. This is a really great date idea for all locals if you haven already done so. There is also a cute cafe onsite where you can indulge in a bit to eat and wine.

the new castle

My outfit was inspired by the Spring 2015 colors. I wore a muted bright green top with a black full skirt with shear inserts and flats. I always want to be comfortable yet still look stylish and chic. You can create this look by pairing a T-shirt with full skirt. What can make or break this look is the quality of the T-shirt and the flats you pair with it.  Also add on accessories to really complete the look. I wore a statement necklace, cat-eye sun glasses with a large structured bag.

Holiday Gift Favorites Collaboration

Hello dolls and Happy New Year!

I hope that everyone has enjoyed their holidays.

If you pay attention you will realize every gift tells a story. In a way gifts that are given to you reveal how the gift giver feels about you. That is why I felt the need to share my favorite gifts. I truly felt that the gifts I received exceeded my expectations because they were so thoughtful and creative.  Since I was so happy with my gifts I was inspired to reach out to two of my favorite bloggers and find out about their Holiday gifts and why they loved them as well.

I hope you enjoy reading about my holiday favorite gifts along with two of my favorite bloggers.

Here are my top gifts:

The  straw boater hat with lace and the small structured bag are vintage collectable pieces from the 1940s were given to me by my boyfriend. The semi precious stone necklace is a handmade piece from my friend and local designer Doreentii Fersola. Those amazing Sam Eldemen Booties were given to me from my parents. My last favorite is a dress form given to me by my aunts.

Here are Anj from Styled With Poise Top Picks:

The Phillip Lim (Pashli mini) bag and Givenchy sunglasses are both from my husband. I needed this pop of color since I love wearing black outfits. The bag goes well with the sunglasses which, are the perfect fit for the shape of my face. My mother-in-law got me this Pandora bracelet. I personally love that the bracelet is personalized. She also got me a travel sized perfume. I always carry one in my purse and it really comes in handy. The scent is not over powering, which is one of the reason why I love it! Aesop Chamomile Mask is from my best friend. It has rescued my skin from those bad break out moments. Besides using it as a mask, I also use as a spot treatment.

Lastly heres Jannelys from The Fashion Buffets favorite:

For a while, I’ve been wanting a chic pair of headphones to workout. Luckily, my boyfriend got me this gold pair from Frends. It was instant love and he made a great decision by choosing gold since it matches with my logo and style. Not to mention gold is the color of my phone and desk accessories. These are my favorite headphones now because they’re super comfortable on the ears and the sound quality is amazing. The Taylor headphones never miss in my bag. The best feature is the glittering hardware on the headphones because it adds that girly look. These headphones are convenient to store, since you can fold them very easily and place them inside the pocket it comes with.

Evening Holiday Party Makeup

IMG_6746It’s time to get your holiday makeup fix! Leyanis of Viva con Miami-Fashion and I collaborated to share two holiday makeup looks created by makeup expert, Shelby of Fancy Girl Faces.

IMG_6753My look is perfect for an evening holiday party. Here’s how you can recreate this look:

Step 1. After you’re finished with your foundation and powder, apply a gold shimmer all over your eye lid and concentrate a dark brown shade in the crease blending outward.

Step 2. Use a brow brush and powder to define and shape your brows.

Step 3. Use a matte black liner to outline your eyes and a good mascara to get a full lash look.

Step 4. On your cheeks apply a pink blush for rosy cheeks.

Step 5. The last step is to apply a coral lipstick.. and you’re now ready to party!

Make sure to check out Viva con Miami here to see the Holiday Daytime look by Fancy Girl Faces.
